I TOLD....

So I finally told my job!!!!!!!!!  I'm not a person to share all my business at my job so this was very hard for me.  I prayed about it, lost sleep over it and just wanted to make sure I said the right things and told them enough but not go into a lot of detail.  Well.....it was pretty painless.  They all took it very well and asked questions here and there.  One person said....are you sure you want to do this????  Well...it's a little too late if not because I'm growing a baby inside of me and it's not mine!!! LOL  Some people are funny!!  Some said, how are you going to feel afterwards handing the baby over....well since I haven't done it yet, I'm not exactly sure how I'm going to feel, however, I know when I see my IP's holding that sweet baby for the first time I will feel like I accomplished a miracle!!!!!!!!!!  So as for now, my bosses that I work with (all men) know and the other people throughout the office will just have to speculate, talk about me, wonder if I'm fat or pregnant (but not dare ask) until it all gets out.  Until then...on to something else.

We had our first OB visit and it went really well.  I'm on track for a c-section July 1, 2011.  Of course many things could happen between now and then, but we'll just pray that it doesn't and by the 4th of July I should be home resting and recouping.  It sounds far away, but I know it's going to fly by.  My birthday is July 20 and I already told the girls to get ready, we'll be heading somewhere nice and fun for a mini vaca!!!!    The baby's heartbeat was 160 today and my OB was happy to meet my IM and congratulated us all and sent us on our merry way.  We don't go back for 5 weeks now and then we'll be on the regular monthly appointments.

Another thing is my butt if finally feeling better from not doing the shots every night.  When I run (thru the office or whatever..not actually run..I would probably croak) I can still feel a little soreness from where I got my shots.  Now that I'm off, I think I realized how many side effects I was having...how tired, hormonal, on edge and being starving but everything tasting horrible.  At least now I'm just starving but when I eat, it USUALLY tastes good.   Now just preparing for my family coming in town for Christmas and I'm so super excited!!! Finally me and my daughter don't have to travel...everyone is coming to us!!! And this will be the first time I've seen my family since I've been pregnant..so I'm sure I'll hear how big I look or how much I'm showing..but that's ok..it's expected!!!  I may or may not blog before Christmas so to everyone reading this, may God bless each of you this holiday season, have a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy, Healthy new year to come!!!!
